behind the magic
Martin is a children’s entertainer who will dazzle your young guests with magic and excitement at any event. Your child will definitely have a magical and memorable experience that they’ll never forget.
At birthday parties, Martin typically performs a 45-minute magic show – with lots of audience participation. He also offers a full 2-hour package which, along with the magic show also includes games and competitions. He also provides the music and all the prizes!
Martin is super flexible when it comes to your needs. He’ll ensure you get exactly what you want (and more).

Which areas do you cover?
Martin’s home area is Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, Durham, and all surrounding areas – although he has done shows across Cumbria and up to Edinburgh. Martin has also been booked for special events as far as London and Carmarthen – he’ll go anywhere!
What about parties for younger or older children?
Martin can adjust his show to most age groups from 3 up to 10. We encourage mothers to sit with the younger ones and enjoy the show with their children.
Do I need to pay a deposit
Yes – this can be done with a credit card, PayPal or your own internet banking. We’ll send details when you book.
Do you do joint parties?
Yes! There is no difference in the price and some parents find it easier to split the cost of the whole party.
Do you need a room to change in or set up?
There’s no need for a room to change in but it’s always nice to be able to set the show up away from prying eyes! Having said that, Martin has set up many times with the children in the same room and is happy to do that.
Can you do the show outside?
Martin performs outdoors at fetes and galas, but only when necessary. He prefers to do it inside for private gatherings. Although being outside seems ideal, keep in mind the children may be sitting in the sun. Additionally, there are other distractions like insects and airplanes.
